Bordeaux. A friend's father laid the foundation for my love of wine in 2002. He began collecting Bordeaux in the 80s and once shared a 1976 Chateau Latour (my birth year) with me when I was in my 20s. To this day this was the bottle that changed everything and whenever asked about the most special bottle I've ever had, this is clearly it.
I love learning and feel as an adult I feel you should never stop learning so I'm excited to share I've enrolled in a 6 month program with the @winescholarguild in their Bordeaux Masters program, the most advanced certification program on the region and wines of Bordeaux.
Bordeaux's rich history and cornerstone in the world of wine seemed like the right region to start my in-depth studies plus Bordeaux is a great Winter sipper.
